(2011-09-05) Kitron AB, based in Karlskoga and Kitron Microelectronics AB, based in Jonkoping have been merged into one unit per 1 September 2011. The combined entity is named Kitron AB (Kitron Microelectronics AB being renamed Kitron AB), located in Jonkoping with the corporate id 556588-9739.
Kitron's operations in Karlskoga are run as before with its focus on customers in the Defence and Medical segments. The operation in Jönköping is continued with its focus on customers in the Industry, Medical and Energy segments as well as their special skills, such as microelectronics and cleanroom.
